With acrylic paint, Sonia Wilkinson recreates the human face using distorted, textured and colourful lines and shapes.
What continues to fascinate her is, no matter how far from the norm she goes, a distinct mood, expression and personality emerges every time. A thought can almost be read on each quirky face.
As of September of this year, Sonia is honoured to have her art displayed on 11 utility boxes that sit along Lundy’s Lane in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
