Ellie Ruddle started painting about 50 years ago with oils, and presently acrylic is her medium. She paints just about anything that inspires her.
Recently her work is displayed at the St.Catherines Club on Ontario Street. Ellie loves doing commission work and she is an active member with the St.Catherines Art Association and a student of St.Catherines Academy of Fine Arts.
More recently, Ellie has branched out to paint on larger canvases and has formed a technique that makes the painting appear translucent and more delicate to the viewer.
